Jiraya + Tsunade vs. Sasori + Deidara

This is a pretty good hypothetical..i have to say Jiraiya and Tsunade because they used to work as a team which leads me to believe they have a chemistry and teamwork advantage over deidara and sasori. like even though deidara and sasori were on a team, their conflicting beliefs and personalities make me believe that they wouldn't work as well as tsunade and jiraiya on a team.

plus, tsunade is better than sakura and sakura and chiyo defeated sasori.
jiraiya is on par with pain, and as akatsuki's leader he is most likely more capable than all of them. with the exception of madara.

To me it really comes down to whether antidotes are present or not. It doesn't matter how good Tsunade's medical ninjutsu is if she doesn't have prep time to make a cure. I believe Sakura needed specific plants and took probably half an hour or so (don't quite remember). If not, then Sasori with 3rd Kazekage can just use Iron Sand World Order to poison them as their bodies will become almost instantly numb/paralyzed.

If there are antidotes, then I see Jiraiya in Sage Mode solos these two.

Jiraiya uses a giant Dark Swamp jutsu, and summons his 3 giant toads, tsunde summons her boss Slug, uses her healing jutsu that lets her heal no matter what, since his poison damages her, her healing jutsu would just heal her from it. That is to say they somehow avoided Dark Swamp. Jiraiya's Toads and Tsunde's slug and Tsunde herself would keep them busy until Jiraiya goes Sage Mode.

Then Game Over.

sasori could possible solo with ironsand world order, there is no possible way to defend against that attack. only very few characters can dodge that.

even if jiraiya used summons they will all get poisoned. katsuyu could possibly heal itself or something but then theres deidara who can blow the hell out of the 2 sannin, although i almost know for a fact that their teamwork is better.

Meanwhile deidara flys away and preps C4. Now its really game over.

Or sasori could use 3rd kazekage and iron sand them to death, without knowledge poison gas would probably take out at least tsunade.

If Sasori starts in Hiruko puppet,Jiraiya swallows and destroys it,as well as Sasori puppet- using dark swamp .Or Tsunade Shunshins foward and Legendary Heel drops it,killing Sasori puppets body also. As for dealing with Deidara.Toad Flame Bombs or Water Bombs has them covered.Deidara might cause problems, Sasori starting in Hiruko will be taken out quite quickly.

I`d say Jiraiya and Tsunade can cooperate better than Sasori and Deidara. Also, I think Jiraiya could beat Sasori or Deidara and then help Tsunade!!!

Sasori could hold them off while Deidara preps C4 and it's done. They won't know what it does, or will be able to see the tiny bombs since neither of them can see chakra. They'll inhale it, Sasori goes far from range, And KATSU!!!!! It's over.
