My moneys on Lee! Without his weights on he can move too fast to be seen, so in Eight Gates Mode I think he could probably beat Sonic's speed in his Super Saiyan cosplay mode.

Sonic in base is hypersonic+. So far that's faster than anything we've ever seen from the likes of Narutoverse. Lee is no exception. If anything he's Transonic+ with gates. If we're talking about Super Sonic, the dude is FTL. Seriously, no chance of anybody in the HST coming close to that.

Now get eight (not six, EIGHT) gate gai with mega speed steroids vs a super slow Sonic and we'd actually have a match.

In his natural state Sonic can run up to the speed of sound. Actually, a little faster then that. When he is Super Sonic he can move at the speed of light. They just really slow him down in the video games so that we can comprehend what we're doing. In Solar Sonic form he can run around the world once every millisecond, or so I've been told by a guy who is obsessed with Sonic.

Yeah...you might not want to know. It's not a fanfic character though. It is an actual Sonic form. He goes into it when he uses about a thousand Chaos Emeralds. (In the original Sonic series there were more then seven Emeralds. Or at least I think it was the original...its the best anyhow.)

Sonic is probably nowhere near light speed, but he still easily beats Rock Lee or anyone in NV in speed especially running speed.

As far as I'm concerned the comics don't exist. The only canon I go by is the games.
