I think we should be able to specify bumps when we are posting because we shouldn't get posts for posting one word. (One word posting) Maybe a box after you post that says "This is a bump" that you can check so it doesn't go towards your post count because it shouldn't. Thoughts?

I just post "/bump", but I feel guilty because I deserve a post from that. I just tohught that other might feel the same way. It's also a way of hogging attention because if a thread isn't viewed, it's because nobody thinks it's going to be interesting which is your fault.

Maybe. I understand that it would be a little work for the Admins, but it would also be something quite commonly used and useful. It would be worth their while.
