The Old Days

NOTE: This is NOT a rant about the current situation with the English dub. I'm just talking about what the Title says: the old days.

Does anybody else miss the old days? The time when every Saturday you could turn on Cartoon Network and watch Toonami to see the new Naruto episode? I miss those days so much. Watching the openings only makes it worse. I almost wish I could go back in time (and have my brain washed so I remember only what I did back then) just so I could watch all those episodes again. I'd do that even though I'd have to suffer through all the boring/scary/painful things that have happened between now and then. It'd be worth it just to be able to watch it again. Every Saturday. I miss those days so much. T_T

Didn't it used to come on every day at, like, 9? The reruns at least, and then the new ones on Saturday? Yea, I do.

Probably, I just liked the new episodes because well..they were new. You didn't know what happened already.

Yes I miss the old days....since Naruto Episode 1 ;0

I remember that they'd put 1 episode every week then when New Years came around, they put up a big marathon of almost all the Chuunin Exams arc epsiodes.

Then later, it was at 8:30 to 9:30 for 2-episode run everyweek....the reruns kinda stopped.

I remmeber in August 2008 there was an episode from Fri-Thurs late night at like 10:00 EST.....just THAT week, it was weird.

Then some summers ago they had a 5-day marathon of Naruto nonstop XD

Then when it came to around September-November 2008, it went back to 1 episode every Saturday night and shifted the time little more later to like 9:30 EST.

Then that 1 week before Valentine's Day Saturday was the LAST CN's Naruto episode...... :/

Somehow from Feb to July 2009...they showed 1 random Naruto episode each month on a random day. XD

In march, it was when Naruto first met Jiraiya episode...

and in July was one of the episodes where Naruto tries to do his Rasengan training on the ball. Then that was it....until October 28th, 2009. OH THE GLORY! =)

i miss them so much i remember when me and my friend would watch it then we would go outside and play naruto and have epic battles ( i was always evil hehe)

I miss the old days of Toonami and the new Saturday anime eps. as well. I remember comming home from school to see the new animes out (before they switched to having them on Saturday). I knew when Toonami said that "Tom" was no longer going to show, they would ruin it for me.

Yes, but I also miss watch a lot of other shows on Toonami as well, such as Zatch Bell and Bo...what he was called...man so many good times indeed.
