I don't think he needs a custom weapon. That really isn't his style of fighting. He will have to expand on what he already knows. More wind manipulation, summon collaborations. Remember Naruto has a massive amount of chakara, he should be using big crowd clearing techs. Plus he has shown he can summon weapons and use them...

Well it might not be part of the main manga canon, but it looks like the Shippuuden movie 4 will be using the idea of Naruto fighting with an improved weapon.

I could see Naruto with a weapon, but then again, i couldn't. His personality doesn't really fit having a big weapon, so if he was to have anything i would like to see him using the chakra blades Asuma had. Those were perfect.

i think Naruto w/ a weapon would be intersting and a good move
sword imo wouldnt fit his style of brawling
the chakra blades of Asuma would be cool but dont fit w/ Naruto's character they seem to be more the weapons of a killer
i would think something like nuchaku would be a good fit along w/ using his wind elem to increase their effectiveness
and another choice that comes to mind is the tri-section staff also aided by wind elem would seem like a good fit

He should get more attacks not a weapon and if he should get a weapon it would have to be a mace !

i have thought about this for a while and if you watch some of the original episodes during the Chunin Exams Gaara's team leader demolished a moderator by using a wind sword. He also says while he kills him that it is impossible to block.

I have though about it and i think that maybe it could be a weapon and jutsu.

A wind sword that is a jutsu that kind of attaches itself to his arm to make an ultimate sword that will not slow him down.

Feel free to correct me or make it better

I have thought about this before and it seems to all of Narutos attacks are close range he has shiruken and kuni but they never do anything. I think Naruto should either learn a distance jutsu or use a long range weapon. I think a blunt weapon would suite him best

I think It'd be cool if naruto was this strong and DIDN'T have a custom weapon, which is true currently. If naruto was this strong WITHOUT the fox, he'd be a prodigy. Unfortunately, the only reason bee and naruto are VERY strong, is partially due to the hachibi and kyubi.

and sage mode... maybe naruto should get the fourths custom kunais. i dont know, as long as he still punched alot. naruto has pretty much preformed all 3 of the top 3 punches in anime history..to lose those great hits would be a sad day. maybe he can use the kunai primarily to mark his target, and then teleport punch/kick-own his target.

Spoiler: The trailer for the new movie shows him fighting off several foes using a wind element dagger (thought it was a kunai at first, but going back and looking closer the blade is shaped differently than a normal kunai), using it almost like a lightsaber.
