Sasuke vs literacy

Does Sasuke Uchiha have any feats that suggest he's capable of reading?

In the event that the written poriton of the Chuunin exam gets brought up, all Sasuke did there was copy the pencil movements of the guy ahead of him with his Sharingan. That doesn't mean he can read what he wrote.

As for getting through academy, I submit the possibility that he coasted through on physical ability and "My parents are dead

", as well as the fact that Shikamaru passed as well, and he never bothered to so much as pick up a pencil, so it's possible to graduate without passing any sort of test.

He read the scrolls at the end of the second stage of the Chunin exams.

The only thing on the scrolls was a summoning jutsu for Iruka. There was nothing for him to read.

No the Sauce can't read there is no proof he can is there :o?

But on the other side is there any proof that many other Naruto characters can read?

Sasuke can at the very least write his own name. He would have had to sign Manda's summoning contract with blood.

He was only able to summon Manda because he had absorbed Orochimaru. After Oro was gone, he couldn't summon snakes anymore.

I don't think so, Oro is always shown studying by himself. Well actually Kabuto was doing the research for a while because of Oro's incapability to use his arms.

Orochimaru wasn't interested in Sasuke's mind so he had no reason to develop it.
