kunai are better when you are trying to kill something or someone.shuriken are good for like diversions or simple traps or maybe even to block things such as other shuriken/kunai.kunai are basically a lot stronger and harder to break then shuriken.

kunai are way better because they can be used for close combat long range combat u can attach things to them like bombs and thread and u can pour ur chakra in them

Kunais are pretty good for defence, and when u attach a paper bomb to them, but shuriken are also good for long distance when u try to sneek up on an enemy.

Depends on if you're more skilled in melee or distance fighting. Kunai --> Melee. Shuriken --> Distance.
