It looks so amazing when they cut themselves with the Kunai!

The Shuriken look silly when they hit the logs or when they break in half, lol.

Ya i had a similar argument w/ the paperbomb vs smokebomb topic when i said smokebomb was better because it gives you time to use a jutsu. but i think this has more to do w/ which one is better overall in use as a weapon

Kunai, definitely.
Because you can use the kunai to defend yourself and you can throw it.

Kunai- you can use them for hand-to-hand combat, or throwing, plus they have a handle so when you're holding them you don't accidentally cut yourself on it.

I always thought it to be so weird when they defend or at least engage in combat and the two shinobi are are just repelling each other with Kunai.

Ultimately the swords are the prime weapon!

Totally agree!!! I have a beautiful, hand made katana and am learning how to use it!!! It's so beautiful - almost like a dance... Oops... ok... I chose kunai because of its versatility. You can block or attack with it and even throw it if you had to. But if it's your only weapon, I wouldn't suggest throwing it because then you'd have no weapon...........

I say Kunai.

Shuriken are smaller and...probably harder to hold and throw.
