no i was being rhetorical... and patient my ass! police caught a cerial killer and he told how he let his last victim prey for god for half an hour before he killed him and guess what.. he still got murdered.

if there is a god, and im sure there isn't. (atleast the so called all loving caring version the bible describes) then why wouldnt god save him or help him find a way to escape..

I'm going to say it again. I don't know the answer to that. There will always be misfortunes in this world and it might never end. To be honest, I myself don't know what God is planning, but I'm sure He knows what to do and how to end it as well.

Greatest mistake? Now what would that be? He does not ignore everything. He sees it all! Even if you're hiding... God can see all of the things that you're doing and He is not ignoring it. If you have faith enough, He will surely help you with your problems.

Long Story short,no-there is no evidence that God exists. Asides that a man living outside the universe looking down on us just seems a tad unrealistic to me.

My opinion- God is a spiritial manifestation of what us humans look to for central guidance. Think of it as a conscience that was made for humans to better judge right from wrong, and to give them a "light" at the end of the tunnel. Quite frankly, believing in God makes death and life not seem so depressing. The fact that you one day pass away and that's the end..is a scary and depressing thing. We make rules/guidelines for ourselves to make our lives have more meaning alongside with God.

So I guess you could say God lives within us as the better person or something like that.

This by the way is probably a very bad way to explain my opinion...I am tired and groggy so I can't word it exactly how I want to.

I don't believe in one specific Diety. I am a christian, yes, but If you wanna be safe, pray to the "Correct god, whoever is up there" lol. No, I'm jk. I do believe in god though. Its be depressing to be an athiest IMO.

you question why i said "his greatest mistake" so obviously you know nothing about Human error where our entire species is hellbent on self destruction and how we have royally screwed earth over with our pollution..

buddy, i live in the real world. surrounded by poverty, drugs, gangs, idiots, and corrupt leaders who are more consearned about their money than the health or well being of others. heres something you didn't know about me, i did believe in the Christan god at one point.. i even went to the camps as a child, and every time the groups broke into gossiple music, i broke down and cried the entire time.. at first i figured it was the hand of god touching my heart.. i later found out it was an allergic reaction to the pond water when i want canoeing.. dont ask, the doctor picked it up by accident.. nothing serous.. just a certain mineral in the water put a chemical imbalance in my brain for a short while

but when i did have faith, and i was going thorugh HUGE anger and emotional issues at home and anywhere else, nobody was there to help me, not even the thin air i preyed to.. so sorry if i cant exactly sympathize with your closed minded point of view on whats real, fact, or fiction..

i understand both sides of the non religions and religious point of views.. but you put yourself off as such a bible thumper that its annoying me to no end because your so ignorant to the reality of everything around you

not really.. when an athiest wrongs someone and feels bad about it they find the person the wronged and make it up to them somehow to get rid of the guilt.. instead of talking to a priest in a box and suddenly all is forgiven just like that...

I do live in the real world. I'm also surrounded by poverty, drugs, etc... I don't get everything that I want. I see people dying, suffering and some other horrible stuff. I never questioned God for it but instead, I prayed for it to change. And the most important thing that I learned about praying is that you don't have to just pray but you also need to work so it can happen. And it did... Not everything turned out good though because not everything you want will happen as you wanted it to be. I'm debating about God right now to tell you that it will change your life. If you did believe in God before and something happened to make you stop believing, well that wasn't a test from God to see that if you'd still believe; but it was the world we're living in making it's own mistakes. There will always be hard times and also good times. Why can't you concentrate on the good stuff? Because you think that's too selfish to think of knowing that there are a lot of people suffering out there? Then that means that you do care. Well, to some out there... Asking where is God for all of this and that, here's the real question. WHERE ARE YOU? Just thinking about all of the horrible stuff around you and doing nothing about it is pointless! Remember, even if you do a little good deed every day can change a huge thing and at some point, it might even change the world.
