Didn't Preskip Sakura handle her own at least for a limited time against Dosu?

They were toying with her. They didn;t even use any jutsu on her from what I can remember. Plus, she had massive prep and an advantageous battlefield.

Zaku used air waves though against her forcing Sakura to use replacement jutsu like 2 or 3 times.

I mean seriously shouldn't Sakura now be faster than Dosu's and Zaku's reaction?

And Dosu's sound waves are limited to very short range from my recalling.

Sound waves are sound waves. Close range, long range, mid range. Unless Sakura happens to have suddenly gained new speed feats that I'm not aware of, she won't be avoiding it.

Well she did evade those needles with the help of Chiyo.

I mean seriously she should be able to with ease but you made it harder for me to believe.

Its a sad day if a current main character cannot defeat a genin from the chunin exams on the fact alone.

Blame Kishimoto. He's incapable of creating a powerful woman who stays that way for longer than a few chapters.

The only reason women like Temari and the Mizukage aren't subfodder is because they're secondary characters and Kishimoto hasn't had a chance to ruin them.

I mean look at Tayuya for example.
