!! The last 5 minutes of 151 was the best written filler scene I have ever seen, because in a way it is just so real, Utakata just died quickly and quietly and Hotaru has no idea whats going on (she may not ever find out what happened to him!!)

. This is the first time a filler has made me cry, and even though I knew he was going to die I didn't expect it to be like that, they tricked me into think that there would be a happy ending and he wasn't going to die anytime soon but than the anime is like 'haha fooled you' and took the happy and replaced it with the most tragic filler episode ever (and aguably one of the more tragic scenes in the canon).

Sorry for that rant but I really like Utakata and Hotaru, and I was expecting him to die yet, let alone in the way he did. I thought I had at least another 5 episode with them

I cried! I just can't believe they made a string of episodes about a guy who would inevitably die... I knew he was gonna be captured but it was so sad seeing Hotaru playing in the flowers, completely oblivious...

I know Hotaru was kinda annoying but she didn't really have a childhood after the Forbidden Jutsu was sealed in her...

Yeah, when they first showed Utakata being a snob and all, I got a hunch that his whole arc would end up changing his stoic attitude into more of a regular person. The worst part of it is that you're sitting through the whole thing knowing he's going to die... so all of that ended up getting him nowhere.

Still a good arc, not going to complain about that... a shame he had to go in without so much as an epic fight. I was hoping to see him whip out his Tailed Beast more than just once at the end.

The filler arc revolved around the six tails jinchuriki. But we never actually got to see the whole bijuu. What a rip haha

I thought that the ending was very dramatic and sad. Poor Hotaru!

The Guren theme made the ending sadder.

Even though I liked seeing Pain, I wish Utakata would've actually put up a fight. The Asura path owned him in 5 seconds flat...

This is one of the worst filler arcs I have ever seen. It wasn't interesting and it was too long. I was sad though when Pain took out Utakata because he just excepted the job to be Hotaru's Master, and the arc gets you kinda close to him.

Aww cmon! It wasn't THAT bad. I mean, the last fight scene with Pain and Utakata was horrific! Simpley terrible! I mean, he gets hit with missiles and boom, its over. And when the "host" is in danger of dieing, doesn't the tailed beast supply chakra for the body? So, why didn't that happen with Utakata and countinue the 3 second battle?

Edit: And he was the only good guy I actually began to like...

That was a sad moment when Utakata died. He was so cool...and Hotaru had finally gotten a master to teach her. Now he's dead. Hooray.

Yah, I have to say that the fact that Hotaru and him and gone through so much throughout that filler only for Utakata to be beaten in a 5 second battle with Pain made my eyes water a little.

I remember. I watched that 3 second long battle, cried a few silent tears, but all the while my face was probably like, "WHAT THE ;););););)!?" That battle... no, not battle. That complete owning from Pein was horrible. Why didn't Utakata put up a better fight? He lives through all this sh*t using his Bijuu and he's defeated in 3 seconds. Grrrr!
