Should electric cars make noise?

Hybirds or electric cars barely make a sound..
For the blind pedestrians who rely entirely on hearing, traveling is almost considered suicide.; or at least the vision impaired who can't see cars and traffic coming their way.

Just because people have left their eye away from the road for a few seconds doesn't mean electric car should make noise to help safty for driving. After all, it's sometimes distracting to those who don't even like people who turn their radio on their car voice maximum. What possibly made you thought that eletric car should make noise such like racing car. Since regular car don't make noise. At least none that I have been in make noise.

Yes, I think they should. They should sound like geese.

That way, when Fall in Illinois (where I live) comes, and the geese return, all of their honking and the honking of the cars will really freak people out.

image every car sound like geese. It would only disturb the driver concentration. Additionally, it will distract the driver even if they left there eyes away because everywhere surrounding there car are loud noise. Where do you possibly know where the sounds may be. Furthermore, it'll cause lots of problem for people who have to sleep in the night or day. While there are people driving on the street with eletric car which has sound.
