Naruto is needed for obvious reasons. Sasuke and Minato are needed because they affect the majority of the plot, without them it would just be fighting and no storyline

for everyone that says the series cant go on with sasuke i disagree. they made almost 100 episodes without sasuke in them and they were fine. i dont really think sasuke is needed they could always add another protagonist

Code Gueass needs Zero or esle there will be no Code Geass season 1-3. Nannaly is a big part is the story too. So basicaly Code Geass = Nannaly.
