Naruto Trek 2010?

Does anyone know if Naruto Trek is gonna happen this year? I hope so 'cause the videos I saw on Youtube of it were hilarious (such as Sasuke proposing to Sakura

, I mean the voice actors performing in character)

(not a Trekkie so if its more than a TV series please correct me)

okay everyone I researched the site (since I was unsure of location times etc.) and heres what I found:
Naruto Trek in a convention devoted to the anime/manga series Naruto and the TV series Star Trek
Each year people gather around to enjoy and celebrate these two series in cosplay, events and all around fun with other Narutards/Trekkies
Its a full 3 days of panels, discussions, events, auctions, costumes, movies, episodes, parties and more.
Of course, seeing as how this is an Anime/Sci-fi convention not just Narutards and Trekkies will be there, all animes and sci-fi series are welcome with open arms.

Held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, United States on March 27th through 29th

i mean, maybe an all space shows con or a ninja-con i would get. BUT WHY NARUTO/STAR TREK?!?

Hi!

I attended both NarutoTrek cons, ran some panels and helped out volunteering.

Sadly, because the fellow who thought it up spent so much cash on Trek guests that he apparently did not break even last year, and I doubt that there will be a third NarutoTrek. Imo, he should have dropped the Trek part (HIS fandom of choice) and continued with Naruto (his daughter's fandom), as the place was packed with Naruto fans 10 to1 to Trek fans and we all were willing to attend in the future. NarutoTrek was great fun and worth it just for meeting the Viz folks and EVAs (great bunch of folks, who really love the story). I'm going to miss it this year.
