Kurenai the best genjutsu user in konoha seconded only by Itachi vs Zabuza the assassin of the mist known for his silent homicide technique who will win??.

Location: Same place kakashi fought Zabuza
Mindset: Blood lust
Knowledge: Kurenai knows about Zabuza's techniques Zabuza doesn't know anything about her.

By hype she is.Her only feat is failing against Itachi.

Kurenai's Genjutsu is Short-ranged only and Zabuza is too fast as well to even get caught.

About Location:
Kakashi and Zabuza fought in the Swamp as well as on the Bridge.
Either way:
Water Vortex is enough for Kurenai due to her lack of Feats.

Kurenai is featless besides her EPIC fail against Itachi.

Zabuza speed-blitz Kurenai and uses his multiple Water variants.

This is quite an ultra stomp.

Zabuza can start with mist, and decimate her with his blade.

Water Ninjutsu would work with mist, not without, considering the seals take too long, he also has not shown the ability to use water vortex, by the way.

Kakashi used it on him.

I don't recall him using it on Kakashi, only mist and water dragon.

Zabuza used it first then Kakashi copied it simultaneously w/ his Sharingan.

Zabuza. Hands down. He's got more experience and more aggression, I'd say. He's fast and could distract her with the mist. She wouldn't be able to cast genjutsu. Besides, she doesn't seem very strong.

I thought Kakashi used it at random, catching Zabuza off guard and surprised, which is why it hit.

Did Kakashi dodge the first, and catch Zabuza off guard by copying it so quickly?

Or did Kakashi use it to counter Zabuza's?

Because I recall Kakashi hitting Zabuza with it off guard, Zabuza being surprised.

Because I recall Kakashi hitting Zabuza with it off guard, Zabuza being surprised.

Zabuza was freaking out because Kakashi was instantly copying his movements and jutsu w/ his Sharingan. Zabuza used Water Vortex w/ Kakashi following up with his which caught him off guard. (Kakashi's Water Vortex almost double the size of Zabuza's)

Zabuza easily takes this.

Hidden Mist means Kurenai's not landing genjutsu on Zabuza, which is literally her only option.

Zabuza was screwing with Kakashi. Kakashi is way above Kurenai's level.

Kurenai has no real durability feats, she gets cut to bits.

Zabuza can use Hidden Mist Jutsu and stab Kuriena in any of the seven vital spots he mentioned. She has no dodge against that since she's slow and the mist is blocking her vision. Or he could get her with his sword on all the seven vital points if he chose to. They are the heart,liver,larynax,ect.

If you think about it, as the story progresses the characters naturally get stronger and it has been so long since that arc that Kurenai might just have a chance.

If Kurenai was given more feats she could >Zabuza . At least I think she could. In the anime her moves can probably take Zabuza as they are powerful and ranged.
