I had been looking for the results of a Bleach pairing poll done in Japan for a while now, and I finally found the results posted in a Bleach forum. I am not sure how old the results are, but they're still valid. Also keep in mind these are all heterosexual pairings - no yaoi or yuri.

Are you surprised by any of the results? It's interesting how both the Japanese and western fandom shares certain ships (most notably IchiRuki) whereas we completely disagree on others (IchiHime was a shock to me). All I know is I'm pretty happy my OTP ranks 3rd.
So, let's use this thread as a place to discuss, and vote on your favourite pairing as well. I think it will be interesting to see how Japan and North America rank up.

Whoa, IchiHime is 50th? D: That's a little surprising. More surprises from this: Renji/Hinamori. It's kinda cute, but Izuru/Momo isn't even on the list! (pouts) And Izuru's so angsty and cute around Momo...>:
IchiTatsu and IchiSenna. Mostly because IchiTatsu is above IchiSenna (I like both, though.) And also because, again: IchiHime is in 50th place. ;~;
Hisagi/Hinamori at 13. It's odd, because I've seen more Hisagi/Rangiku and Hisagi/Nanao, but it is a cute pairing, and there is a bit of ship tease for it. Also, kohai-senpai relationships seem to be very popular...
IchiYoru. Mostly, I'm wondering why the aforementioned pairings are above it.
Gin/Hinamori. Mind Game Ship, much? But then again, those are hot, so it's semi-excuseable.
Hmm...Rangiku/Gin/Izuru/Hinamori OT4? MAKE IT HAPPEN, KUBO.
Kenpachi/Yachiru. While their interactions are adorable, it just seems a little...well hell, I ship this too, but it's just kinda squicky. Moving on...
Rukia/Kon? That's definitely a new one on me...
Oh well, at least my OTPs (mostly) made it into the top 25, save for Izuru/Momo, and Isane/Kenpachi.
Isn't it odd that I ship RenjiRuki and IshiHime, but don't really give a damn as to who Ichigo ends up with?

i love urahara and yoruichi together!!! and i'm super surprised that japan doesn't favor inoueXichigo but rukiaXichigo is number one...i think ichigo and rukia would be a terrible couple. i think he should go with inoue. rukia should be with renji because he clearly loves her.

i also like the ulquiorraXinoue pairing.. however, i must admit that i would be jealous of any girl (or guy) who gets my ulquiorra...

and kenpachiXyachiru?? that's disgusting! she's like his child! talk about pedophilia..

renjiXhinamori is a joke. hinamori is too pathetic to deserve a relationship.

i think hitsugaya should be with ichigo's sister karin. wouldn't they be cute together?!

ichigoXtatsuki?? that pairing seems so random to me... she's not involved in his life at all. she just seems so distant from ichigo compared to rukia and inoue.

i think ichigo should be with inoue because unrequited love breaks my heart

it is because of that same randomness I think it is possible they end up together, dunno why..............must be coz Tatsuki is the only girl he's known for a long time, and it could be easy to make em end up together, especially if plot tactics are used

I do gotta say I like IchiHime too, but to me, it is kinda too obvious, hence why it seems to be not that popular in Japan

I'm glad some excellent pairs like IchiRuki, IshiHime, AiHina and KyoNana were ranked highly GimmHime, AiHime, IchiSen and IchiTatsu are also bonuses!

I'm still very disappointed to see garbage like HitsuHina and UraYoru even on the chart, though
