I just want to get TO the fight. These last couple chapters have been all the pre and what not, and while I get it...I am boooooooored with the prep and require my weekly fill of some action!

BTW, who else here agrees with me that NaruHina is a huggable pairing? Like you want to turn everything the pairing represents into a stuffed animal of your choosing, and give it a hug? Aw, dangit, I'm high on NaruHina goodness!

And I guess I do find the paring huggable.^^

I am waiting patiently to see what happens over all. I mean we know everything has started and I am kind of wondering where it will begin so to speak. It really wouldn't surprise me in the least if we do end up following around some of the units and not Naruto (because they won't let him out).

While I really do enjoy watching Naruto kick some can, it will be nice for the lime light to hit some of the secondary characters in battle that really haven't been fleshed out much. I don't know if we will see much of Sauske at all, but I'd be interested to see if his power becomes less dark now that he has his brothers eyes/power which was not anywhere near as dark.

I actually am bored of seeing naruto and sasuke getting all the attention. Yes I know that they are the main characters,but I loved part 1 for its variety. The dilemma of lee's recovery,the dire straits of Naruto's teammates during the sasuke retrieval arc, and learning a little bit more about his supporting cast. Hopefully Kishi will make this war so expansive,that he needs to encompass everyone again.

However,that would require Kishi putting the naruto versus Sasuke fight off for years. xD

I completely agree, I think that the way it will roll out will be that Suaske and Naruto will kind of take that secondary role as they prepare for the end. Which would make a lot of sense in how things would play out! We will probably see them in more of a secondary role now as we gain more depth into the secondary characters, their relationships to one another and fighting abilities.

I doubt we will see anything that has to do with the pairings any time soon. Considering basic survival will be the primary thing on the characters minds (or should be) during a war situation. The pairings will probably come at (or close to) the conclusion of war and possibly starting into the next series (if Kabuto is to become the ultimate evil or Orochimaru resurfaces).

Yeah even if they do show any romantic stuff during the war it probrably won't be for a while. I just hope that they don't take forever on it.

I take what I said back, bacon-dono. Despite your claim to not be a NaruHina fan (or maybe I was imagining that post?) you bring a lot of good arguments to the table, as does SilentBlade. But, yeah, I have a feeling that the Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei was done for that reason; to give characters who haven't had big parts for a while more screentime, as well as depth. For example, Neji might run into Hizashi, just as Gaara could wind up running into Chiyo. Also, we'll probably get some insight into the pasts of the former jinchuuriki, seeing as they've been brought back as well. I don't get why Jiraiya wasn't resurrected, though... Perhaps Kabuto's saving the bigger players for later?

Anyway, these discussions are interesting, but since this is a NaruHina thread, they're technically off topic, but, hey, it doesn't look like the OP minds so far. Speaking of whom, what happened to her? She hasn't posted in a while...

Of course, the romance wouldn't happen during the war, but it'll happen after it ends. Hopefully, Mr. Kishimoto doesn't do anyhting dumb until then. As for Hinata, I'd happy if that happens and celebrate like a fan when the Bafana Bafana scores a goal.

Yeah and hopefully he'll do something that will get Hinata and Naruto together in the war. It deosn't have to be for a while I mean they focus on the war itself for a while but then sooner or later Naruto and Hinata will run into eachother and something big will happen then.

I am not sure if anything would happen during the war, its so early to tell, but based on his fighting style and hers, it would make sense that he would be assigned to a similar or same unit since they specialize in close to mid-range combat. It certainly would be interesting if a conversation came up, but I have my doubts that Naruto will be allowed to join the fight any time soon. Even Gara stated that this war was to protect him, and lets face it, you don't stick the asset you are trying to protect out on the front lines, conversely, you always keep the ace up your sleeve and not show all your cards until a crucial time.

I would hope we get to see some real situations, the current one with the release of 517 is really good. I won't spoil anything because it JUST released and i am sure you all want to read it.

Yeah its too bad Naruto is too busy training to be in battle right now. But sooner or later Naruto and Killerbee will be in there and they are both good at close range so they would be perfect in the same group as Hinata is so hopefully when he does join he'll be put in that group. It might not happen but hopefully he'll at least run into her so something will happen between the two of them.

Hope to God, Mr. Kishimoto wouldn't think about killing off Hinata. Let's hope he leaves her alone with NaruHina after the war if it happens. As for Naruto, he would think about of controlling Nine Tails thoroughly and maybe think of her.
