Anti-OOC Sakura Club.

This is a Club for people who hate it when the Fandom takes Sakura and makes her into a Mary-Sue/completely annihilates her personality.

She's usually turned into an overly-perfect aggressive feminist who has anger problems. In other words, she's a Purity Sue, Jerk Sue, Possession Sue*, and most likely others. And when she's not turned into a Mary-Sue, she's fangirling for Sasuke and gets extremely jealous and rude if he's next to any other chick. Seriously, in one fanfic, he was next to an Uchiha and she got emo. Not to mention, Sasuke showed no interest in the OC Uchiha around Sakura.

So pretty much, you can just talk about how much you dislike what the "fandom" does to her. But please keep it clean, use the Spoiler Tags, and don't flame if someone has a different opinion about her personality. And even if you aren't a member, or if you ask to join and I don't get back to you yet, you can still discuss things with other members. =D Also, I won't think of it as spamming if you talk about other things people change about her, or if you talk about other characters that've been changed. Thank you.

I don't. Because its actually possible in real life. Ever heard of the saying: "Keep pretending for something you're not and you'll turn into it."? Its actually a psychological sickness, I've encountered a case where someone hid his true self for so long that it develop a personality of its own.

Point is, though, I think people are just seeing Inner Sakura the wrong way... I mean, in the Manga I doubt Inner Sakura is her own person.

Inner Sakura is the personification of Sakura's true feeling that she hide in order to appeal to Sasuke, the proof? She never show up since Sasuke left.

Now, the very definition of split personality in psychological sense is another personality that stem from the real personality, usually it comes when the person in question undergone a massive pressure and as a coping mechanism subconsciously creates another version of his/herself, very much similar to an imaginary friend.

The main difference between split personality and imaginary friend is that people with split personality tend to go along the line of thinking of: "I wish I AM..." while those with imaginary friend goes along the line of: "I wish I have a friend who..."

Now, Sakura definitely show the sign of the first case, first during her abusive childhood before befriending Ino under the hand of her classmate followed, and then the desire to mold herself to fit with Sasuke. Now, in both cases, Sakura endure the pressure of the difference between what she wish for and what really happened which may subconsciousy lead her to create another personality, a perfect personality type inside herself while hiding her true self and thus Inner Sakura is born.

So... yeah. Inner Sakura is the same entity as Sakura, in physical sense at least but Psycologically, she's a different entity.

Well, if she actually was a separate personality, I think Kishimoto would've made it serve more of a purpose, ya know? I mean, I just think of Inner Sakura as Sakura's real thoughts, like when a friend asks you if she's fat or something and you say "No, of course not!" but in your head you're kinda thinking otherwise...Just my opinion, though. I don't want it to seem like I'm fighting over something like this, or anything.

Why I wanna join? Well... lets just say I can't imagine Sakura as a stay-at-home-only type of wife... or having her depicted as a very violent and abusive b*tch to Naruto which so many people keep insisting that she is. Imo, Sakura is the personification of an independent woman who will not take bullsh*t from anyone. Sure she have fiery temper but she's nowhere near violent or abusive, she have a very soft spot for Naruto in fact.
