Might have to start a Gai versus kakashi thread now. Gai actually showed of this chapter but on that same token Kisame looked weaker.

Lots of good action here. It's nice to see Gai fighting again and pulling out seven gates to boot. Loved how the turtle is summoned for the sole purpose of being used as a jumping point. So does anyone think that Gai will have to pull out the eighth gate and give his life?

I think so Kisame has not even shown his true strength yet. I like the way kishi gave Naruto a sprained ankle to keep him out of the fight. Thats bad news for Gai though good indication of him dying.

It was when Lee had just finished sparring with Sasuke before the Chunin Exams began. He walked up to Lee and tried to scold him for fighting with Sasuke.

Anyway, this was a pretty good chapter. I can't wait to see what Afternoon Tiger does.

It is very slow. The best bet would be if a kind mod would merge these two thread, but that is probably too much to ask.

Kisame basically showed what he can do, well his strongest attack [Water Dome] That was no fluke, he was still Kisame then and didn't switch with zetsu at that point/ Gai will have to go 8th , but the 7th's bursting level was beyond my expectation though.

Lol at Naruto being taken out the fight that damn quick. So this fight is one on one now. Full out
