Black and Gold Super Rares!

We're getting a new card type! It's called the B&G (Black & Gold) Super Rare. These are 4x as rare and hard to get as normal Gold foil cards, and come in cool Black and White foil!

And believe me, they look much better in foil.

However, this means that we will have fewer normal SR's. To be exact, we will have 3/4 the normal amount of Super Rares. Decide for yourself whether or not this is good, but I find it to be an interesting development in the game!

i think i'd rather my cards have color...although you'd think if they were going to make something like an ultra rare card it would be different in ability or something.

Black and white FTW.

but having a sivle tint is more money twords the card in the making but less cost on the color.

It doesn't cost any more money than a normal gold foil card to make. It still has goil foiling, but you still use the same amount of ink, just a different color (in this case, you're just using blacks and grays instead of colors).

I like the normal cards with color... However, these new super rares look pretty sweet. It kind of grows on ya, you know?

Please take those card pictures down now. They are Viz owned objects and it is agaisnt the forum rules to post stuff like that.

Ok, now I see what you were talking about in that other thread.

But, despite the fact that I do not disagree with SM taking down the pictures, those are owned by Bandai, not Viz. I got the pictures from Bandai, and Bandai created those pictures legally.

1. I don't agree to it either. But somehow Bandai has those "Chibi" Naruto characters that sme of Viz's avatars has. IDK but Bandai own 'em.

Well, both the avatars and the templates used for the cards came from the same original pictures, which were and are probably owned by Masashi Kishimoto, though Viz may have owned them as well.

However, since the pictures were used to create something completely new (the cards), which was then copyrighted by bandai (and credit to Masashi Kishimoto is given on the card), it might be fair to say that Viz does not own those cards.

However, since Viz may or may not partially own the images used in the cards, I don't disagree with what Sage Mode did. Better to play it safe.
