I was lurking on a "christian" forum and I saw this thread. It's where this guy has a letter from a concerned parent. In the letter a woman says that her daughter had been raped, but was refusing to marry her rapist.

Not only that, but he insults the girl. Calling her a wh*re and that she will burn in hell for all eternity unless she marries her rapist.

Can you see what is wrong with this picture here? It is quite...disturbing.

I am a Christian but I don't really think like that... Words don't affect what is going to happen with you after death.

^ I don't believe in heaven or hell. I think it's only for people to join Christianity. I have nothing against it. Because I know there is a higher up somewhere. I just don't think it's heaven nor hell. But it's the topic that is very disturbing for me.

I am a Christian and first of all God will forgive the girl...unless she liked it then it wouldn't really be rape...
but that woman should not to judge others...and no not all christians are like that...

^ Exactly. When I signed up on there to talk some sense into them I got banned for no reason. It's rather funny.

I got IP banned before I could even post. I think it was the fact I signed up as a 15 year old.

Well I have nothing against people that don't believe in God...but this one girl said God was gay I got really made at her and said "I know God isn't gay cause God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!"...btw what did you say to get banned?

What would you say to the fact that certain animals, such as barnacles, can have no gender, and so have sex with other barnacles that later become male? Would that not be proof that god condones gays?

well actually I don't think God is against gays, and don't get me wrong I'm not against gays either...and you do sorta have a point...

Quite frankly, I don't give a crap what someone's religion or beliefs are. When they act on them, such as trying to get their daughter to marry a rapist, THAT'S when I get pi****. But I don't see what that has to do with being Christian, since any sane person regardless of religion wouldn't think a victim of raping would burn in hell for not marrying her rapist. In fact, if they already know who the guy is, can't they just get him arrested?
