Deidara's C3???

I was in spectator mode and I put Deidara and Itachi Vs Gaara and Naruto and Deidara and Itachi were about to lose when all of the sudden Deidara got in a clay bird went way high in the air and dropped his C3 clay which caused them to win.....
Does anyone have any clue how the heck to do that?
