I think Lucario would win, because Lucario has many things in common with Naruto, however, he has more, and is a bit faster...

Shadow Clone Jutsu=Double Team
Bone Rush
Rasengan=Aura Sphere
ETC.

Most of Naruto's moves might be...flying type. That would be normal affect against steel and fighting. Naruto would probably be a normal type. Fighting>Normal.

I think if we're going by anime Naruto can easily speedblitz Lucario. Also, I know it says Base Naruto, but does that mean he can't go SM or anything? I realize he starts in base, but can he "evolve" to a higher level?

Then, Lucario definitely wins. Naruto has not been shown to be that fast in the games. Lucario has a base speed stat of 90. He can improve his attack power with Swords Dance. I have more reasons above. Lucario also has Double Team, which counters Shadow Clone Jutsu.

I wasn't talking about Lucario. I was talking about Naruto. Looking back evolve was a poor choice of words in debate with Pokemon. xD

Bleh. Never mind then. Just wanted to confirm.

Anyways, going by game alone Lucario can get be on par with Naruto. Also, Rasenshruiken>Aura Sphere, so even if they are equal speed Naruto base can still overpower Lucario. He may lose the abilty to manipulate chakra with his attacking arm, but he'd win.

First of all Double Team in the game is not like in the anime as much.
You can only use it 5 times and raises your evasive ability bar few point each usage.

Plus they aren't real copies.

Detect can dodge anything, in game terms, and Naruto can't use Shadow Force or Feint.

It can only be used at max twice in a row. Naruto could likely match Aura Sphere with Rasengan, and Big Ball Rasengan would beat out Aura Sphere. I'm not saying RS is the only thing he can use, but it's the most viable option. Big Ball Rasengan would probably be his best technique in this instance, since it only tires him out marginally and would do massive damage to Lucario.

Double Team can't counter Shadow Clones. Afterimages can't attack. They just make it more unlikely that you hit the wrong the wrong target, making it harder to land a shot. However, a dozen Shadow Clones versus a dozen double team clones means Shadow Clones win.

I could actually see anime lucario winning.

One episode, he and some other guy shoved a mountian buster+ explosion into an aura sphere and shot it skywards, which means aura sphere can be made into bubbles (?) and have people in them.

As far as game version goes, spam counter and extremespeed, or endure and reversal if he's low.... actually game-wise lucario (as most others) would be semi-omnipitant thanks to using items like max revive and full restore and such, but if not then what I said above and all.

As far as anime goes, a majority, if not all moves shown by pokemon have shown to have either super-explosive powers (I.E. making a humongous blast when something is hit with... bubblebeam? what the f.... exploding bubbles?), city/mountian/planter buster+ powers (in order: city/ hyper beam, Mountian/ large pokemon attack (onyx earthquake, as an example), planet buster/ Sacred fire, pretty much anything arceus uses, or moves and abilities that makes them insanely powerful (A magmar blowing a hole through the side of a volcano, and then him and another pokemon sealing it up and surviving in boiling volcano lava and whatnot, Entei being reborn every time a volacno is born or erupts, a few clefairy basically causing a skyscraper+ buster by waving their fingers, psychic powers, wobbuffet... nuff said). I wouldnt doubt anime lucario has something up his sleeve for naruto to eat, if he had sleeves and needed to eat I mean.

Regular Rasengans are maybe the same strength.
Double Team in the game makes evasiveness go up. But if Naruto used Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu and combined it with Rasengan or RasenShuriken moves. It wouldnt really matter How Evasive Lucario is. There are Thousands of Naruto Clones everywhere.
So Naruto > Game Lucario
And Double team in the anime simply confuses the opponent. But Naruto can spam Shadow Clones to make sure he gets the right one. On top of That Naruto is much much faster. And would easily speedblitz.Only problematic attack Lucario has is Bone Rush. Which still isnt enough to take Narutos endless number of Clones.

So Naruto > Anime Lucario

Just letting you know in the games Counter always go last so Lucario will get damaged.

Naruto can heal so this battle will go somewhat on attrition.

Well yes, he will get damaged BUT if the blow is strong enough then the counter at 2x damage will kill naruto on the first shot, rendering him the victor, am I wrong?
