It's been implied that the EMS lets Madara be immortal.

I think the Eternal Mangekyo Sharigan is better. It looks cooler anyway.

I personally think the Rinnegan looks better and is much stronger than the Sharingan. Therefore, I would want to have the Rinnegan.

Hm I suppose Rinnegan is the better one, atleast according to Fukasaku. It also allows you to use all the six paths techniques. And also a Rinnegan user can revive all people who have recently died. That's what I've read.

When we discuss which is better, we have to define better...

Sharingan looks way better, definitely...

But Rinnegan is much stronger than Fuumetsu (Eternal) Mangekyo Sharingan:
1. Rinnegan is the ultimate eye jutsu...
2. After FMS/EMS, the next stage is acquiring Rinnegan... It is said that Madara awakened a Rinnegan right before his death (yes, I believe Tobi is just using Madara's name and not him himself)...

I love the way the EMS looks so i'll go with that in terms of looks, but Rinnegan is more powerful obviously.
