The chunnin exams was cool, because it featured almost everybody. Also We can deifintley relate to being students, and taking a hard exam, well not that hard, but still.

My favorites were the Chunin Exams arc since my three favorite characters had fights one after the other.(Naruto, Lee, Hinata) I also liked the Sasuke Retrieval Arc because of all the great fights, especially the one between Naruto and Sasuke.

I found the arc with Zabuza and Haku to be a very outstanding arc. It showed the aspects of the manga, and generally what being a ninja was all about.

zakuza, i thought it was very well thought out for a begining of the series to get to know characters.

I liked the Sasuke retrieval arc, it had amazing battles put up by characters that really needed attention. Even if the Konoha 5 failed and pretty much got beaten to a pulp by the sound ninja, they looked good when they failed. It sounds weird, but Kishimoto really put an end to each battle in a good way. Cuz Choji, Naruto and Kiba risked their lives for a friend, Neji showed weakness(for the first time xD) and Shikamaru... well, matured?
Anndd, I just thought it was cute when Kankuro jumped in a saved Kiba

My favorite story arc has to be the Search for Tsunade, becasue it was the begining out knowledge of the rasengan and the the three sanin fought was interesting.

My second has to be the Chunin Exams due to the fact that many new and amazing characters we know and love were introduced prefectly. This story arc started the main overall story of Naruto. This also was a very enjoyable time when you started to pick who you were going to root for and who you hated for all eternety.

I'm going back and forth from the Zabuza arc and the Chunin Exams arc. The Zabuza arc was a vary good intro to Naruto. Kakashi and Zabuzas fight was good. Now the Chunin Exams was good because it introdued the rest of the main ninja in a way that we got to see all of their fight skills and waht they stud for.
If i have to pick one I will go with the Chunin Exams.
