Anyway, since we are in the spirit of sharing poetry, I'll post a quick one that I made myself.

This was a Christmas poem I sent to various forum buddies and real life friends before Christmas day:

Spoiler:

Christmas is tomorrow.
Or, for some, it's today.
And we know this busy holiday
can cause unfortunate delay.

I shall be busy tomorrow.
Celebrating, certainly.
So will you accept my Christmas wishes
just a tad bit early?

Merry Christmas; Happy New Years; Happy Holidays to you awesome, awesome people.

Awesome, You are a great poet, May I join this club? I like haikus, they are short and fun to write... only problem is that i'm not veary good at writeing them, here's one

Sounds of happines
now fill my ears so greatly
enjoy it or not

Yeah, it really does suck
I'm no non knowing poet
wow I am now board

Yeah... those where stupid.....

here's a limeric... i think that's what it's called

Flowing ever so gentally
Why oh why
The birds they soar
They fly!

The nature
The love
the happpiness
Flying like a dove

Oh I wish I could fly
The bueatiful sound
But alas
I am here, stuck on the ground.

What does Alas Even mean? Dosn't it mean like Realize?

Isn't Hairy spelled Hairy?

Suggestion: Might be a bit of work, but I suggest putting peoples' poems in the first post in spoilers. Might be too much work though, maybe a few minutes. (For me, it's too much work, which is why I'ma post a poem 'bout it.)

Question for Haiku people: Can you do more than one stanza for it, or is it not Haiku if it's more than one stanza (with the 5 7 5 pattern of course)?

delecate or thorns, blood red in prose
spiteful or sincere, which one to hold close
to ones heart in the springtime, vibrant or morose
for as we go foward, we reap what we sowe
like a petal flowing slowly, from water to snow
and as we grow colder, do we frost on our soul
or remember that flower, what we had is what we know
