Well hitsugaya had several haters before Harribel fight. But I think the Harribel fight increased the number of hitsugaya haters.

Its because the way Kubo handled Hitsugaya in his fights, plotlike intervention seemed to obvious somewhat on some cases.

Lol Kishi and Kubo have the same problem, the most popular characters seem to get all the PNJ and somehow the Japanese fans tolerate how bad it is because of the character who gets it......

I'm glad OP doesn't have that problem, I don't even know who OP's most popular character is, probably one of the main Straw Hats lol.

Hitsugaya pulled off Kubo's Plotkai so many times that its not even funny... He survived against Gin, Aizen and now Harribel LOL worse than the Sauce.

Hitsugaya's Plotkai wasn't that bad until Harribel.

Hitsugaya surviving Gin was fine imo. Yeah Gin was stronger but I don't see how Hitsugaya dying would've been that much better.

Hitsugaya surviving against Aizen the way he did kinda sucked but even still it wasn't that bad.

Harribel vs Hitsugaya is the one that screwed things oh so horribly.

I'm pretty sure Sasuke has had worse plot no jutsu overall, although Plotkai as a whole is more horrid than Plot no jutsu.

okay i personally think itachi is faster but im going to say they are even here just because it is pretty unsure and no way to test it.
and i think toshiro's ice attacks could probably be countered by fire style, clones, ammy, shaningan prediction, and itachi's other jutsus. so i dont think toshiro could really do a lot of damage to itachi. but this is also true the other way around

i think there is one determining factor here though. GENJUTSU. i dont think that toshiro really has any way to counter genjutsu, and im not just talking about tsukyomi. ya if they made eye contact then tsukyomi wins it but itachi can cast a genjutsu with one finger so he wouldnt have any problems here.

i'm willing to ammit that toshiro is a little better fighter when it comes to his ice attacks vs itachi's jutsu but genjutsu wins it here

Hitsugaya was keeping up with Harribel so potentially he is hypersonic, making him faster than Itachi.

In any case genjutsu may screw him over but if Hitsugaya's far enough genjutsu won't reach him, while Hitsugaya can use multiple ice dragons, or if needed, Hyoten Hyakasso.

Hitsugaya is definately hypersonic; hes one of the more underrated captains.Abyways if Genjutsu can affect Hitsugaya than It could affect almost anyone else in bleachverse, and there is know way Itachi could beat any of the upper tiers in bleachverse. Saying genjutsu could protect Itachi against an opponent with vastly supperior speed and greater power is ridiculous. Hitsugaya wins this by a good margin.

hitsugaya isnt all that powerfull...and itachi doesnt need to make eye contact for all of his genjutsu, for many he merely needs to point at his target. once hitsugaya is immobile its over for him. and let us not forget itachi's sasanoo which is impenatrable.

And lets not forget about Hitsugaya's Shikai and Bankai, which would demolish Itachi

his bankai makes him a slower bigger target for the genjutsu, it wouldnt demolish itachi. now ichigo's bankai is a different story...
