Blastoise and Charizard were the best water and fire starters. Meganiums the best Grass starter.

swamperts to me the best water type and charizard can kill of all of de other fire and grass starters easilyo.0so swamperts de last one standing

i always was a typhlosion fan but charizard dwarfs him...not very partial to the new starters tho, torterra is the only solid one but hes just a venosaur knockoff, both of which are too slow.

I was always a fan of the original pokemon series,with no knowledge of there stats,Ill simpily say Venusaur,Charizard and Blastoise would win

There was a very thorough debate about this in Pokemon magazine. I think all the originals came in first, but I can't really remember. But they weren't comaparing them as teams. As teams, the originals stomp.
PS: This should be in other anime or viz anime, not the battlegrounds.
