The first only has like 8 characters to play as. And I agree with Raiku

Story doesn't prep you enough for final boss iirc.

It's a pretty decent game. I prefer the second more, as it has much more characters than the first. There is a new storyline, you level up your team (sounds like Pokemon lol). And you can fight others on Wi-Fi...

I heard this game was awesome, but not to awesome. One if my friends told me. But I can't recommend it unless I tried it.

I beat the game and lost it on my bus (Never Found Again)
some random kid probably found it and having fun with it.
Its my first Naruto Game for DS, a pretty cool game if you ask me.

I prefer the 1st Path of the Ninja, but if online play is big for you then I'd get the 2nd one.
