evolution?

Ok so i can jump back and forth when it comes toevolution becuase it seems so logical,yet there are many who can refute it. Well i am no one to refute or accept itall willynilly ,but i am wondering if anyone stroongly disagrees or agrees with it.

Here is my view on evolution. Ya its true things do change over time, that is the definetion of evolution "change over time".

As far as do speices change from one thing to another i think they do, but not like one species suddenly changes i think it takes a really really really really long time Take humans for example; if you would look up the body stucture, weight, and hieght of humans from the earilest records we have to now, they are very very similar and its pretty clear they are the same thing. Same general size, looks, habits, and about everything else. But then there is a small difference in that overall people now are taller, not by a lot but we are. Okay dont take that as a "people are become a new species" rant that was just an example of how evolution works, even though i personally thing we are changing.

Another thing to prove evolution is real is the fact that there are different speices now that a long time ago. And if you pay attention to what species are around in certain times you will notice that the speices in order are very similar. How do explain the new species if its not from evolution??? New species do not just come out of no where, they are changed from older species. If evolution wasn't true then every time a species went extint then there would be one less speices end of stroy and everything alive now would have to have been around since the earth was made. And just incase you dont know scientist believe that one speices can evolve into multiple new species.

As far the the whole "religion vs. Evoltion" thing they DO NOT contridict each other. The order that scientist said that the species came in (like birds, fish, humans, etc.) is the same order that the bible says they came in so no contridiction there. Also i have never seen anywhere in the bible where it said that species do not evolve, that is just a popular misconception.

personally...i really don't believe in evolution at all...mainly because logically it makes absolutely no sense.

1.Evolution completely goes against Cosmetology.
2.Scientists have no way to get around some accurate evidence that goes against evolution, they just ignore it.
3.Evolution states that life evolved. Yet when the earth was created there was nothing. And we all know...nothing can't evolve from nothing. It's impossible.
4.Evolution supports the big bang theory. Well explosions NEVER lead to anything
good so that much isn't accurate as well.

My theory is the world was created by a higher power.

evolution is just a theory that n=haven't been proven. How did we end up in our mother stomach. Creation had a possible chance of being real then evolution like the first human(Adam and Eve) were created then they give birth then went on to other people being created.

Also scientist thinks that when the whole evolution thing started it was from micro-organisms how do we know they werent around then?? It is most likely there was some kind of organism like bateria or some kind of single celled organism.

And so little is known about the Big bang theory it can't really be used and it wasn't a normal explosion.

And i also believe in a higher power they dont condtridict each other, why couldn't the higher power make these creatures evolve???

'the nothing can evolve from nothing' theory you have is why scientists believe that a comet came to earth and had some kind of micro organism in it which allowed it to live on this planet. and things can evolve. evolution is basically adaption on a much larger scale.

Evolution is the process of an organism adapting to it's needs. Apes evolved into us because they couldn't stand straight, and so, they couldn't reach food up in the treetops.

Yes, a higher power could make creatures evolve, but why would that higher power not make things directly, instead of through evolution?

i agree with you and thanks for replying. actually it depends on the religion you believe in, for catholics and christens it seems to say the earth was created in 7 days while evolution dictates that a single species takes wayy longer, albiet im rusty so i wont give a number.

yes,there is a major hole in the theory it self becuase we cant go back to see what happened. however i will refrsh my self in the modern day experiment that involves amino acids that resulted in a being that took from its enviroment to survive but had no rna.

really? anyone who says that these animals chose is plain silly.while i admit its a stretch, what happens is that their dna changes and causes slight mutations. the ones that survive pass these traits on, thus you have a species that had changed from one to another.

in short evolution isnt voluntary,but involuntary.....

Evolution is the process in which organisms best suited to their environment breed while those that are not best suited die. The cause of the differences are genetic mutations.

It does not have anything to do with religion, the origin of life, global warming, or the big bang theory. Are we clear on this?

First of all, the big bang theory is an expansion, not an explosion in the popular sense.

Second of all, evolution has nothing to do with the Big Bang.

A scientific theory is an idea with evidence to support it that interprets why things happen. The law of gravity is that things are attracted to one another [immense simplification, I know]. The theory of gravity explains WHY those objects attract each other.

religous folks refute it generally because if its true, then thier religion is wrong.....

I strongly agree with evolution but I also am a believer of God. Some things in the bible are a little too good to be true.

If God created life, then it would be no different than life being created by itself with regards to evolution. Evolution is how species are created and change, NOT how life was created.

And Christianity can coexist with evolution. I used to be a Christian who believed in evolution. Evolution merely contradicts the book of genesis in the bible, and only if you take the book literally.

problems w/ your logic
1, cosmetology don't mean
2, there is no evidence against it! we have WAY more proof about evolution than anything religion could provide
3, life didn't evolve from nothing: it was a series of events that converted organic matter into living beings. i feel some supreme being had a hand in this, but i don't kno if that supreme being is what the Bible calls "God", but i'm sure somthing like Him exsists
4, it's a different kind of explosion. it's what created all matter. again, i feel it was triggered by a supreme being, but i have no clue who or what he/she/it might be
don't get mad at me for doubting God/Yahweh/Allah (btw, they're all the same being according to their sources) but, i feel there is no proof for Him, but i do have a strong feeling there is an omniscient, omnipotent being that created everything, but for all that has been given to us and proved, Zeus is just as likly a candidate.
