Shikamaru would win, I mean if he were able to defeat someone as awesome as Hidan, then he can defeat Sakura(not that Sakura isn't awesome.)

Shikamaru really wouldn't need much to beat Sakura, she is a close range offensive fighter, and that's the kind of people that Shikamaru can defeat with ease because of his shadow possesion jutsu's and stuff like that

Sakura's too strong to be held down by Shadow Possession. I hate referencing filler, but remember how Rajin and Fujin were able to break out of it? Yet, Tsunade was so stronger she finger-launched them. Sakura could probably do the same.

The way Sakura's technique was explained, you place a certain amount of chakra on your fists or somewhere around there, can't remember exactly, and release it to gain short bursts of super strength. I'm pretty sure she can't use that to break free since she doesn't really have super strength. Only Tsunade has shown it, but it's still a mystery how she did it.

You do realize she dodged only a few of those with help right?

Shikamaru wins if it's long-mid range, shadows could catch Sakura and strangle or stab her. Sakura has a fighting chance in close range, since Shika has a small speed stat and might not be able to dodge her punches.

Shikamaru wins. Sakura only has short range attacks, if she got close enough to hit him, then bam, Shadow Strangle. Shadow Sewing could also trap her.

If Sakura wares shika out and puts him on low chakra then his shadow attacks wont be strong enough to hold Sakura down.However as Shikas IQ is so high he would probably find a stategie to stop her.In saying that,Sakura is also very smart.If Sakura hits shika ,sakura wins.If shika captures her in a shadow attack,Shika wins.Its probs more likely that Shika will win however.

Honestly, I think it's a good fight. Sakura's the type to have something that prevents her from being fully bound by a shadow possesion jutsu, just like she threw off Ino's Mind Transfer jutsu. Also, Sakura is comparably smart, so I can see her thwarting at least one of Shikamaru's schemes. However, Shikamaru is a genius, so I'm pretty sure he'd eventually come up with something.
However, I do think it's inevitable that Sakura will land a punch on Shikamaru, and since his stamina is low in the first place, that it will be the end of the fight.
So, I'm saying that Sakura would win this fight.

only Kakashi, Shino & Naruto are the ones that could beat Shika, everyone else, don't think so (Konoha Ninjas, that is)

You're overrating Shika quite much. Some Jonin like Asuma (if he counts), Guy, possibly Kurenai, or the Hokage could beat him, and Kiba and some others could beat him too.

i think sakura would win...sakruas strong and knows shikamaru...she would find some way to avoid his shadow possesion and shikamarus stong but he's lazy...sure heis smart and has killer strategies...but sakruas a lot stronger and smarter than she used to be

Shikamaru wins, he can easily catch a short-range user in his techniques.

Yeah, and Shikamaru knows Sakura, except he's smarter and could use a strategy to destroy her. Sakura can't injure Shika without getting close, and when she does he uses Shadow Strangle and kills her.

Sakura is strong, but what's strength if it never hits?
