Village: Haigakure (Village Hidden in the Ashes) Haikage: Kenshin Mizoguchi History: Set aside as a outcast from his old village, Kenshin decided to start his own (village). He wanted a place where everyone was welcomed, and no one had to worry. This was when he came upon the ash-filled mountains. He could tell that it would be a good place to start a village because of the dense ash, which would blind and confuse any outsider. And it was due to the surrounding and bellowing volcanoes. Using "Earth Style", large indents were created in the sides of the mountains. Then with the help of his (Kenshin) Shizenme's "Wood Style", Kenshin was able to slowly form the beginning of his dream (the village). The village now rests in the sides of the mountains, protected from the constant raining of ash. Despite its dreadful sounding condition, Haigakure has become quite a peaceful place. Location: The village is located in the Ember Country, and rests within a deep mountain range. These mountains contain numerous volcanoes, which happen to be the producers of the ash. In a more broad sense, Haigakure is located on the south boundaries of the Earth Country and north boundaries of the Wind Country. Village Locations: Kage Mansion -The Kage's mansion is located at the top of Shoyama. It spans about half of the mountain and has a view of the entire village. This is where the Haikage, Co-Kage, and a few selected shinobi discuss numerous important matters concerning the village. As well as being the work space for the Kage, the mansions serves as a living quarters. Training Grounds -Due to the dense ash, the Training Grounds are protected under a large wooden cover. This is where you come to train with your sensei, or spar/train with fellow shinobi. Hot Springs -The hot springs are one of the main focal points of the Hidden Ashes. Due to the lave beneath these natural springs, the water is heated at the perfect level. Pure bliss is what is discovered for anyone wanting to relax. Village Academy -Haigakure's very own institution for learning. This is the place to learn the basics of shinobis skills, strategies, and the history of the village. Also, this is the location for senseis to meet and train their students, and where jutsus are to be learned. |
