i think naruto would , but he would have to use the fox and or sage mode, but since he cant then naruto would be killed like a spider on the wall -.-

if it was regualr naruto w/o SM or 9 tails, he would have no way off attacking deidara, deidara is long range. and naruto will get overconfident and fall into Deidara's trap.
but sage mod or 9 tails, naruto would definatly win

the only way naruto would win is if he can use 9 tails or SM, and in this fight Naruto can't use either of those, so Deidara would win

This match is pretty much explained in the manga and the anime. Kakashi says Naruto can't win because he has no long-ranged attacks, nor does he really have any way to draw Deidara into Close Combat. Meaning 1 on 1 Deidara would own Naruto.

His ability to think drops drastically in anything higher than 2 tails, and if he can't use KN he's doomed to lose a VERY one-sided fight.

If he had Sage Mode I think he could beat Dei-san, even though Dei can fly and everything.
