Naruto's eyes

I was reading old chapters when i noticed that during end of naruto and gaara fight, naruto eyes changed and he had cat's like pupils. Again he had same eyes against kakuzu. It might have been discussed before but do you think it is something linked to his kekkei genkai?
I assumed it because he was able to do rasen-shuriken three times.

It happens when he gets in a stressedtype situation and the fox wants to come out to play.

yea the fox eyes come out in times of stress or anger

Naruto, in the 1st half of the series, gets the red fox eyes when he is angry, stressed, upset, or other strong emotions along those lines.
In the second half of the series [and it may have happened in the first, I just might not remember] After he plegded not to use the power of the fox his eyes stayed blue in times of anger and stress but the pupils became slited vertcaly and cat-like. This is him trying to surpress the fox.

As everyone above me said, the fox eyes came out during that fight.

yup what everyone said is right. Since were on the subject of "eyes" i like the way his eyes look in Sage Mode...no homo. xD

yeah, his sage mode eyes are awesome!!

and, as everyone above me said, it was the fox that made naruto's eyes different.

it happens when he is determinned and it is not the fox coming out to play it is him controlling it. cuz if the fox comes out on free will his eyes would be have an evil tint to it.

Strange, he's supposed to look like a fox, but they look like cats eyes...
