well the trekies and warsies sorta started it but it was the comic book and early otaku's that made it what it is

besides some of early players had a chance to make mad money off this...and they kinda started it all so yeah they're known

I am not surprised it was the Star Trek and Star Wars fans who had the background in this. As for Serg well I did overall well. The one thing rankles me though is the whole speed thing especially in the manga and such. IF you know what I mean.

as far as the speed thing..ah that branched off into two realms

you have..the "speed kills" and "speed feats are fundamental " vain which we see in some sites

and the "sure speed matters allot but not as obsessively as you think" more laid back take on it we see in NF

Well I prefer the NF approach although the whole concept travel speed not equaling combat speed it rankles several people you know such as supersonic and hypersonic speed you know.

That is sad.

the travel speed vs. combat speed rankles me... the faster ur moving the less control u have is my argument, re: flash constantly wiping out or getting tripped. also, if the person ur trying to speedblitz is strong enough to block an attack coming that fast, it cancels out...nobody would ever say "juggernaut gets speedblitzed" now would they?

it depends on the character some are too durable and strong to be speed blitzed

others have massive reaction time .feats to along with their movement speed like Gladiator..runner silver surfur...and their ilk..Barry allen..
