A Forgotten Anime...Really

Ok so i remember when i was 9 years old id stay up to 1 am in the morning and put on adult swim ( Cartoon network ) and watch this 1 anime show. i forget the name and i really want to see it again! i really cant describe it but ill try to, and if u know what it is or might know something similar just type the name down below or give me a link to a website that talks about it or something!

ok, it was this show. and there was 2 main characters that fought each other. now this one guy had like a "power arm" and it could kinda transform into something more powerful but it would hurt his arm. the second guy was his like arch nemisis. basiclly the first guy always tried to beat the 2nd guy but never could and always tried to get stronger. the 2nd guy had some kind of special attack thing. but i have no idea what it was.

i know that isnt much info but atleast make a educated guess for people who know there anime. who ever can name that show that i barley gave any info about is truly " the person who knows everything about anime"
