Re: When You First Saw Naruto were you instantly in love with it
I had never seen so much as a full episode for the longest time. Then I just happened to come into possession of the entire collection up to when Naruto sets off with Killer B (roommate bailed and left his stuff). I loved the messages it was sending about growth, patience, determination, honor and even much of the material was just dramatized forms of things that really actually exist. A great blueprint to the understanding of some of the known unknowns of our time and teaching tool for kids. then I got into Shippuden...deep messages of growth, maturity, coping, acceptance, tolerance, wisdom, strategy and comradery...true comradery, when you might hate someone, but you'll fight side by side with em and have perfect trust that they got you as much as you got them. And I think it was about ten days (maybe more) before I saw sunlight again. I was very happy that I was an artist and could do that kind of thing, cause if I had a regular job, I would have been calling in and woulda been sooooo fired.
