Darkest of Days

The idea for this game is.....interesting. Fight many different battles from the Civil War to World War 2. Stopping....some type of enemy from messing with the timeline. You have to protect certain people from dying because if they die, the timeline gets messed up, and that's game over. Unforturely, from reviews i've read, the graphics aren't that good, there are random invisiable walls, and the AI isn't that good. I'm not sure about this game. I might rent it at some point just to see how it is.

Anyone play it?

Don't play this game. I rented it because when I read the reviews I was like "It can't be that bad." So I rented it and couldn't even play for an hour because of how terrible it was.

I did get this game. I've been working on it the last few days. I have to say, it is not as horrible as the reviews I read for it would make you think it is. The graphics aren't all that good, but considering the company that made this game did everything themselves, it was pretty good. The story has actually keep my interest. The revelation of who you really are was pretty good. And i'm really into the mystery of who these weird people are that keep following you around in time. Dying a lot can get annoying, but there is nothing like getting to use a modern day assault rifle in the Civil War. Or a grenade launcher and modern shotgun in World War 1.
