I have to say, that I also think Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have deteriorated, but, the thing is she seems to feel something for him......

^While that's possible, Sakura wasn't exactly happy with what she saw last time they saw Sasuke. She still cares for him at least as a former teammate, but we don't know for certain that it's more than that or not.

That's actually Anime filler, so it wouldn't truly count. In the manga, Sakura never had that moment.

Yes, Opposites do attract in some cases and I do admit its possible, first hand experience: my husband was pretty unsocial and I was kinda of the one who love to run around giggling. Now we're happily married. however, it only works because WE communicate A LOT. We talk with each other, understand what the other expects of each other and find a common ground where we can agree. we recognize our differences and takes steps to find a way to take it into a positive way. its not easy, change does NOT happen in a flick of a finger.

You argue that Hinata can make Naruto calmer and Hinata more confident, I concur. it takes YEARS of talking with each other to solve the problem that me and my husband faced, God knows how many arguments we have over the simplest of things like hanging out with friends. It IS hard, change does NOT come when one of them is passive, both must take an active role and I can't see Hinata doing that, so far what we see is Hinata affected by Naruto but she NEVER affect Naruto for a long term. Even the Naruto vs Neji moment happens because Naruto was pissed off that Neji was belittling Hinata, if anything it makes him more violent rather than calming down and think about the possible consequences that follows.

Now, about the Sakura in part 1 loving (or is it obsessing?) over Sasuke. Here's the thing, she was friggin TWELVE!! Remember yourself when you were that age? You would be more concerned to be in the "cool kid" group rather than other things. You may say "BUT SHES A NINJA" so what? At that time, Sakura haven't take her role as a ninja seriously UNTIL Wave Arc which she STILL didn't fully take it seriously (which I think contributed that she still hang on the believe that her teammate and Jounin sensei will took care of everything for her) until the Forest of Death and Chuunin exam against Ino. At age 12, you do NOT know what you REALLY feel about someone, its the time where the line between a crush and love is a blur.

Into Season two, Sakura NEVER say anything about still being in love with Sasuke. If anything their first meeting was that Sakura froze up after seeing how Sasuke act in disbelief, pretty reasonable if you take into account that he's completely different from what she "remember" (or is it "imagine") in season 1. If anything its a wake up call for her that he's NOT as she expected.

Hn...exactly thats why I dont like the whole couples thing that much it makes people against eachother hell I went to a narusaku thread and someone called a sister of mine on here a b**** for liking naruhina. Its wrong and stupid in some ways...*Im such a hypocrite lol I made a fanclub for sasusaku and im talking crap bout couples* I read the manga and watch the anime for sasuke and the action thats involved thats why I read or watch anything. I love Fma doesnt mean I have to think OMG ed and winry are SOOO a couple. Its pointless sure its cool tolike something but take it to the extent of protecting it and hating others for what they like is stupid and immature to each their own opinion is the way I look at it.

lol i hate when people say romance doesnt matter, it just makes the characters more well rounded.if you have ever read novels, while the action of the book like in lord of the rings and diablo series from blizzard are focus on demons. the extra little romantic instances make the help the reader grow closer to the cast.
personally i just get into it because it would be nice,

Hn...I agree with what you say and Id also Like to see it happen also but the main thing I menat in my post was too many people look at just the romance nothing else. It takes the story away when you focusin on just one element like your example of LOTR perfect example theres love *aragon and aeowin* it binds into the story and it even makes the story more exciting.

we are on same page, his interest in sakura should inspire naruto to fight ^^. people who forget the story, i feel your pain, my sister is like that.
kishi has made some uber fight like the 4th tails release,and sakuras little revelation only made it better. when the rasenshuriken was being made, i thought it was nice how naruto treasured the notes ^^
if not for the plot the romance would be crap

heh, I agree. Its one thing to hate having competition but to hate for the sake of hating is immature. If you don't like something, explain the reason, saying you don't like Narusaku because "They got in the way of Naruhina/Sasusaku" is WAAAAY better than saying "They SUCK!!"
