He wouldn't have been kazekage and Shukaku would have ended up taking over his body completely and go on a killing spree... But I'd rather not think that way, it makes me depressed :/

That would b just sad. He'd have to live his life in torment until the Akatsuki came....Plus, I think Gaara is going to have a very important role in the story now that the fourth great war is going on. At least that's what i'm hopin' for. Gaara is the only one who knows how both Sasuke AND Naruto feel. He could be the connection with how Naruto saves Sasuke. That would b coolz.

if he didn't turn good he of course wouldn't be kazekage..and i doubt that both kankuro and temari would still be alive..he might have ended up killing kankuro probably if kankuro ever spoke up to how much he used to dis-like him.

If gaara hadn't changed he probably wouldn't have become kazekage, but I doubt the village would cast him out. Everyone in the village already hated and feared him remember? They kept him because despite being dangerous he was their greatest weapon.

if gaara had not changed to the side of good, the whole plot would be way different. he would have never been kazekage...who would have been kazekage if gaara had not been able to take the place? the story would pretty much be destroyed. its pretty nice to see that gaara is so important in the balance of the show, though he is not a MAJOR character, he is still important.

If he never turned good then he wouldn't be that strong. Remember true strength is fighting for the people you care about. All though over time he would get stronger but still he would be no match for Deidara. He only got that far because he was fighting for the village and to protect it.
