Default Mizukage's Kekkei Genkai "Youton/Yoton"
So probably we have Katon,fuuton,raiton,doton and suiton as primary elements..And Mokuton, Hyouton, Shouton, Youton/Yoton (Lava), Enton and Ranton as mixed elements..

Now in chapter 465 we see Godaime Mizukage show-uped her Kekkei Genkei Which is Youton/ Yoton (Dissolve)

Youton - Dissolve
Youton, or Dissolve Element, takes the form of Dissolving attacks and defenses. This elemental style has been used by Godaime Mizukage. Youton is formed through the simultaneous usage of two unknown styles. Since the attacks appear to be a liquid, Water may be one of the styles used.


Now what was your reaction..

It seems Kishi is focused on making new elements..

I think its like a combination of Fire and earth...

It's really down to the kanji that is used. eg hana and hana, one means flower one means nose, both have different kanji.

its lava element. earth and fire mixed. i wasnt expecting to see the 4 tailed apes jutsu...... i was expectimng more of a water element

Yah, me too. I mean, she is the Mizukage of Kirigakure. If she's a ninjutsu type, which it seems that she is, I was expecting something that related to her village or country

Minato made the Rasengan but without a element.
Thats what Naruto did with it something Minato couldnt do.
