Why naruto is still a Lilttle Genin?!

I mean!It doesn't affect his strenght or something but is kishi forget about that part??When shippuden started I was thinking he will do chunin exam "QUick view not a long story like the begining but u know "But he didnt..So i was thinking that maybe in the story after he rescue gaara or when he defeated pain recently...I can believe Kishi still made naruto a genin after all...he can be genin forever...??Anyway,it kinda superficial but that's a hot topic to discuss!!

Kishimoto probably hasn't probably found the right time for the Chunin Exams. Meh, he will probably not have to take the Chunin exams.

A Chunin arc would take up around 40 manga's, or two months of off screen action. There has never been time for that sort of thing. If kishi tried to put in two months, then all plot points would collapse. It may just be possible after the current arc though.

I thinki it's more of an unspoken thing, EVERYONE knows he's more powerful then most, but there really isn't time for superficial things like ranks with everything that's been going on. Kishi may have planned on adressing the issue when shippuden started(They did poke fun at it) but then the heavy stuff came and it kept piling on and there really hasn't been time. I think they'll promote him to jonin if everything resolves itself and the series ends when there still this age, if it shows him older, then he'll be hokage.
