Hey peoples. Do YOU think the fansubs for naruto, or the realsubs are accurate?

i think it's ok. But I don't really know what they're exactly saying in Japanese.

The subbed one, is more accurate than the fansub. The fansubs add things like swear words not in the original.

I speak Japanese, so I can tell you they're accurate enough to get a feel for how Naruto is in the East. Naruto isn't the kind of series we really 'cut' things from.

They're ok. You have to remember, English and Japanese are two separate languages. Since in English you communicate one idea in many different ways, there are going to be many different opinions. As long as the translator uses context clues, they are going to be as accurate as possible.

I think fansubs are accurate. Just because it's not official doesn't mean all of the translations are wrong.

Plus, fansubs add little info boxes for things in anime that are common in Japan but not in America, so now I get why a little bird randomly flies across the screen crowing, it pretty much means something idiotic or embarrasing has happened.

Weeeeeeeeell, although mah second language is Spanish, I think it's reeeeeeeeally hard to exactly translate them. It kinda depends on where you learned Japanese. So, eh, it could several possible meanings. Like ustedes in Spanish, it could mean all of you, or you guys or... in Texas, y'all. It's hard to exactly translate things because the language's grammar is really different from ours.

I think I rambled a bit much there.
