Assuming you mean Euclidean geometry.

I thought it was Einstein's theory that proved that the curvature of space-time was non-euclidean? So until the mid 1900s there was really no way for us to detect deviations from euclidean geometry?

True, Riemann's curvatures are used in gravitational and relativistic theories, but that doesn't explain how significant Riemann's work was until recent times.

Question: How do you visualize a 5D or 6D Cube (my professor told me it was possible, but I still can't seem to figure out how)?
