The fact that this many people watch it dubbed instead of subtitled really frightens me, and lessens my faith in humanity a little more each day.

I prefer Dut, but Sub is just as good.

I like them both, that option should of been there, but if I could I would rather just watch and not have to read what is going on. The voices are not annoying like in dragonball subbed, I started offed in dubbed so I know the voices better and can notice who is talking with out even looking. When i started watching the subbed verions, i got use to there voices, for instnace, Sai voice... in the dubbed version now i think his voice is werid. But all in all dubbed if i could.

Thumbs up Re: Naruto Shippuden Dub/Sub?

Naruto Shippuden should be dubbed by all means. It is a great anime and all the voices sound more accurate in English, (obviously because I am American). Naruto Shippuden makes a lousy one episode a week, that is 20 minutes a week. The story has already been written and Viz always leaves us in suspense and a one week wait. This is one of the best anime I have ever seen and I would love for it to be dubbed because reading is not always someone's strong point, and a lot of the time their words are mixed, or don't make sense. Example: He to village. Although, in English it is much more specific and it also let's your mind wander into the anime rather than read all the speech, gasps, and what not.
I too believe there should be a choice between subbed and dubbed, but the sub is obviously far ahead of dub as it is in every anime.

There was no reason to ressurect this 1 to 2 year old thread. It's obvious by now the Naruto: Shippuden IS dubbed and IS being released in America.
