I thought it was big in the manga, but the anime appears to have found a way to make it seem even bigger. But the most impressive thing about the C4 Karura isn't it's size, but what it does. It's unlike any other explosive that Deidara has.

For something used in such despiration it better be big! Of course in the manga it seemed huge, but the anime always changes perspectives just slightly, in this case even bigger. I also appreciate some of the filler attacks added in.

Yeah, I did notice that the clay people or whatever they are weren't in the manga, but they fit with the flow of the battle, and they didn't seem out of place at all, unlike other fillers. It added more action to the episode.

Usually when they add stuff to actual parts of the manga they do a good job.

As for fillers they just throw crap togther and hope it doesn't cause every fan to stop watching
