i personally like naruto more than shikamaru, but ill agree on whatever it takes to bring Hidan-kun back!!! yeah, the only other villian in the show that accually cool besides Hidan was Pain Hidan still pwns all!!!!

why does everyone say hidan is weak ?

They say he's weak because Shikamaru defeated him. It's ironic that people use Hidan to say Shikamaru is strong, yet diss Hidan's strength level "because Shikamaru beat him".

Shikamaru is extremely intelligent and had six days of preparation time to plan out his destruction of Hidan. Hidan meanwhile, was busy sealing biju those days, in a rainy place, and was probably somewhat worn out.

They also say Hidan only has "one jutsu", which is bull. Hidan was a ninja his whole life so obviously he knows more than one jutsu, and the Jashin ritual, which is what we saw him use, is not a jutsu.

It's actually very powerful when you think about it.

We just didn't have Hidan in the story very long to see all he could do, his character was about Jashinism, so that's the method he used to defeat enemies, and again, he was at a disadvantage to Shikamaru. Let's not forget that Shikamaru and co. had Hidan and Kakuzu outnumbered.

Also, Hidan is not unintelligent as people say. His level in the databook is 3 out of 5, the same as Neji Hyuga. Not bad if you ask me. In fact his entire pie-chart is pretty good.

Hidan is just more of an action-taker than a methodical thinker, like Shikamaru is, and that's where Shikamaru was able to get him.

Nope, the idea that Hidan was a weak, "not real ninja" is a myth. Hidan was so much of a ninja in fact that when the ninja system was demolished in his village, he couldn't move on to a new way of life because the shinobi attitudes he'd grown up with were too ingrained in him for him to accept another way of life. Thus, why he joined Jashinism, the closest thing to what he knew as a ninja.

yeah, if he wasnt sealing the jutsu he could have made a kick-butt plan, but he couldnt, but also if he wsnt sealing the biju he probubly would have over powered shikamaru and the others.

i want to see some of his actual jutsus. they should make a little arc that has hidan in it, like when we see kakuzu again....

if at all hidan was a true ninja. he fought to kill and "died" in battle.

Hidan was definetly a ninja!! i so agree w/ u! one example of intelligence that he showed during his screentime in the show was when shikamaru brought him to the forest and captured Hidan w/ his shadow possesion. Hidan managed to figure out how shikamaru's jutsu worked and everything!

i own 2 Hidan plushies (normal and ritual form), all the manga vol's featuring him and his necklace

im working on getting an akatsuki cloak and hidan's headband, ring, and dark green nail polish so i can finally stop casually cosplaying him
