I think they should have built up Obito's personallity more before they killed him off. I know Kishi couldn't do that many Gaiden chapters but should have done A FEW more. I really liked the story and he could have expanded.

He was just like Naruto. But if he hadn't died, kakashi would've died long ago, he would have never been team 7's sensei, and a lot would be changed. His only purpose was to show how Kakashi got his Sharingan, but I wish he'd serve more of a purpose than that...
