It wasn't hard to noticed that posts now count in the RPs. I love it, but why aren't they retroactive like every other section?

Also, why do I keep getting a "redirect loop" message when I try to go into the Escudo thread? It was fixed for a little while, then went right back to doing it.

I agree. RP's should be retroactive, just like the other sections.

Also, for the redirect loop, I notice that sometimes, threads will have an extra ghost page or so. But the escudo has like 80 ghost pages. It will automatically redirect to the previous page, and so, that many redirects will cause a redirect loop.

But I don't know how to fix it.

I'm also getting a redirect loop in that thread as well. We're looking into why that's happening but the most likely reason is that there's something in the page that's causing it. I'll update you when we've found a solution. =]

EDIT: It seems to be fixed. No idea how though o_O

It seems to me that threads with extremely large amounts of posts are getting the loops. Could just be a glitch.

I can't go to the last page of it and I don't know how many pages there are, so I can't just type in which page to find the posts. I can get into the thread on page one and the first few thousand, it seems, but still not the last.

Actually, the issue your getting is a result of a vBulletin bug. We've identified why it happens (the system doesn't count posts properly) and already have a fix ready to be applied

Awesome. Does that go for both the redirect loop and the RP posts not being retroactive or just the redirect loop?

Just the redirect loop. Although I'm not too sure what you mean by the posts not being retroactive in the RP's. Can you explain further ?

When posts were made to count in every section, it was retroactive and counted every past post as well, which is why the post counts changed so drastically. However, while the RPs have posts counting now, we didn't get the same post count change as when the rest of the sections started counting.

Ohhhh, I know what you mean. For that to get fixed, the post counters will need to be updated and rebuilt, something which is pretty much out of my hands.
