Vick; A new man?

Is Vick, (now playing for the Eagles) a totally new and improved animal lover? In one of his speaches Vick said: ''I have a new respect for animals,'' also he stressed to kids about loving your animals. Could this be a new person when two years ao this man was hosting dog fights, drowning, and shocking dogs to death?!

In my piont of view, Vick's saving grace is his PR. I don't believe he should be playing football, and the only reason he still is saying he's sorry is his PR (Public Relations) telling him what to say. In my opionion, Vick is a monster and should still be locked up. We keep men in jail that have done no wrong, yet Vick is playing football.

I think he has "Changed" because he got caught. He didn't care about the animals before. I don't think that he should be allowed to be a role model for young people.

Note that showbiz, sports managers etc.

Can make you say anything for publicity.

A celebrity may said he/she likes animals, but he/she only said that to get more publicity, and viewers.

As for the role models.

There are some better Role models than just pampered TV stars who enjoy being a star because it pays.
